Local Food Week is a collaboration between Seeds to Feeds and Wellington City Council. Together, we showcase food producers, spaces and initiatives that bring vitality to the city’s local food scene.
2025 highlights
This year, Local Food Week was 1–9 March. Highlights included three Kākano Seed Library pop-ups at the Bond St container, a working bee and super-local lunch at Kaicycle Urban Farm, Haewai Houghton Valley’s Harvest Dinner, and a Seaweed Supper Club at Everybody Eats.
What’s next?
You don’t need to wait for 2026 to participate in Wellington’s vibrant and diverse local food communities – there’s opportunities to come together around kai all year.
