Join Rebecca, Nutritionist and nature lover for a wander along the seashore to learn about Seaweeds on Saturday 11th of October at Breaker Bay. Focusing on delicious and nutritious edible seaweeds commonly found in the area.
You’ll leave this workshop eager and able to forage for your own seaweed and know what to do with it.
Outcomes
Be able to identify a variety of edible seaweed species
Learn the different ways to introduce it into your diet
Understand the basic principles of foraging
Learn ideas and recipes for maximising flavour and nutrition

Sun protection
Reef shoes or something suitable for wading in rocky pool
A bag or basket for collecting seaweed – something that drains well
A knife or sccissors to cut away the seaweed
