It ain’t no party like the Block Party!

The Block Party is back and once again, Sheffield and Birmingham Streets are closing ranks for a full day of neighbourhood energy, local flavour and good times.

We'll be there alongside our good friends at Kaibosh Kāpiti. Head down the laneway at 4 Sheffield Street, which will have great brews and bites from Duncan's Brewing, Dark Horse Coffee plus the Kaibosh Smoothie Bikes too!

This business-led street party brings together Kāpiti’s food, drink, creatives and performers to transform the area into a vibrant, walkable celebration for locals and visitors alike. Expect streets alive with music, buzzing venues, pop-ins, pop-ups and plenty of reasons to linger. Bring the whānau. Rally your mates. Start at one end of the block and see where the day takes you.

What to Expect:
While the full programme will be announced closer to the day, you can expect:
- Live music and performances throughout the streets
- Local food, brews and bites across participating venues
- Markets, creative stalls and interactive experiences
- Family-friendly activities during the day
- A relaxed, street-party atmosphere that rolls from morning into evening
Many of the same much-loved venues and spaces from last year will be back in the mix, alongside new elements and surprises for 2026.

- Sheffield Street and Birmingham Street will be activated for the event
- Easy pedestrian access between both streets
- Parking available nearby, with traffic management in place on the day
